Best day of our lives!
I don't know where to start really. I was a little nervous about planning such a big day that we had both been dreaming of for a long time and at first it felt very overwhelming. Once I had been to see the Doubletree Liverpool however, I knew this was the venue for us. The building itself was breathtaking, and all the staff were so warm and friendly.
Once we had booked, we were assigned Vanessa to coordinate our big day and she was absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, and she made me feel like I could just relax, and she would take care of all of the finer details. During our final few visits before the big day, we met both the General Manager and the owner who expressed interest in our big day. The owner had a coffee with us and wanted to hear all about the plans and talked us through the best places for pictures in the building which was just so lovely that he was invested in us having a great day. On the day itself everything was amazing, we had Idajet & Hosam running everything and they were so friendly and helpful. Everything ran like clockwork. One of our guests had limited mobility and they made sure all the provisions were in place to assist which was a special touch for us. The food we had organised was just absolutely unbelievable. All of our guests commented that it was some of the nicest food they had ever had. We upgraded to the Bridal suite which was worth every penny as there was ample space for all the bridesmaids to get ready. The following morning, we had breakfast which was wonderful and then used the spa which was just what we needed. We didn't book for treatments but from what we did see we will definitely be going back to do this. All in all it was the best day of our lives and we cannot thank Doubletree enough for all they did to ensure it was a success.
